The Frederich and Amelia Mueller (pronouced Mee-ler) family settled on a farm in Columbia, Monroe County, IL. As of 2007 the farm is still there. It is located off Hwy 158 on the left hand side just Southesast of the Farmers Inn building at Hwy 158 and Farms Rd. View the Google Earth tour.
The daughter of Frederich and Amelia Metzler Mueller, Aurelia Mueller, married Jacob T. Briesacher, who was the son of George Briesacher, Jr., who was the grandson of Johannes Briesacher.
